Visit Us

We welcome all visitors with an interest in Freemasonry. Both Masons and non-Masons of a contemplative, studious or merely curious nature will find an inexhaustible fund of interest in our treasury of Masonic lore and relics. Ladies and gentlemen who are not Masons are particularly welcome to visit, as are parties from non-Masonic bodies.

The Library and Museum is usually open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon, except during the Christmas and New Year period. The Curator is very happy to open at other times by prior arrangement.

Entry to the Library and Museum is free of charge.

Our address is: Worcestershire Masonic Library and Museum, Masonic Hall, Rainbow Hill, Worcester WR3 8LX. Please click here for a map.

The Library and Museum is situated within the Masonic Hall, Worcester, has free off-road parking and is able to accommodate disabled visitors. Coach parties are welcome and on-site catering is available for larger parties.

For those travelling by train, there are two stations in Worcester: Worcester Foregate Street and Worcester Shrub Hill, both of which are approximately 0.5 miles walking distance from the Library and Museum. These two stations are on the main London Paddington to Hereford line, have direct connections to Birmingham and are regularly served by taxis. Rail information and timetables can be found on the National Rail Enquiries website.

The Library and Museum is served by the number 35 bus, which is operated by First Midland and runs between Worcester, Warndon and Blackpole. This bus stops immediately outside the Library and Museum and terminates at the bus station in Worcester city centre. Information regarding this and other buses can be found on the Worcestershire County Council website.
